Ipoh is known for its delicious food, and Yinzo Kopi is one of the city's hidden gems. Located at the end of Jalan Bandar Timah, near the newly refurbished Ipoh Twenty Storey Park, Yinzo Kopi is a century-old building that exudes a strong European-style architectural and decorative charm. As a foodie of Ipoh, I was drawn to this place by its reputation for serving delicious food, particularly its white coffee, dry prawn mee, Hainanese chicken, and ''kai si hor fun.''

The moment I stepped into the spacious hall of Yinzo Kopi, I was immediately impressed by its elegant and sophisticated design. The ancient and dark wooden staircase and the red and white brick walls of the century-old shop are astonishing, reflecting the owner's pursuit and dedication to classic style. It is remarkable that a century-old shop can be preserved and elevated to such a level, and it cannot be done without some financial resources and care.

The coffee at Yinzo Kopi is a must-try. A cup of fragrant and creamy coffee is the perfect start to my morning. The aroma of coffee and the taste of the old Ipoh street scene returned with every sip. If you're a traveler, take the opportunity to chat with the locals about the stories of old Ipoh street, and it is a leisurely enjoyment of the local lifestyle.

Yinzo Kopi is also known for its kai si hor fun, a signature dish of Ipoh. The rich and sweet soup base immediately revealed that the chef had used various fresh ingredients to cook this sincere dish. The Ipoh sar hor fun is tender, bouncy, and slippery, and it goes perfectly with the savory and sweet soup base. The addition of rich prawns, chicken, and scallions makes the dish even more satisfying.

The Hainanese Chicken Rice is another standout dish at Yinzo Kopi. The chicken is cooked to perfection, with a tender and juicy texture that is complemented perfectly by the fragrant rice. The rice is cooked with chicken broth , giving it a delightful aroma and a slightly sweet flavor. The dipping sauce is also excellent, with just the right amount of heat and tang to complement the chicken and rice.

If you're a fan of spicy food, you can't miss Yinzo Kopi's Dry Prawn Mee. The noodles are cooked just right, with a firm texture that holds up well to the flavorful sauce. The sauce is rich and complex, with a deep umami flavor from the dried prawns and a bit of heat from the chili paste. The prawns, pork belly, and other toppings are fresh and add a nice variety of textures and flavors to the dish.

Overall, Yinzo Kopi is a wonderful place to enjoy some of the best Perak state and Ipoh Nanyang delicacies. The owner spared no effort in creating a spacious and classical elegant environment and cooking one delicious dish after another, just to spread the fragrance of Perak state to the world and share it with everyone. I highly recommend Yinzo Kopi to anyone who wants to experience authentic Ipoh food and indulge in a comfortable and elegant atmosphere.
